Koumas Link - Ipswich Town News
National newspaper reports today are linking Town with a £3 million move for Tranmere's Jason Koumas. Coventry and West Ham are also linked with the player, described by the official Tranmere site as: "A quick-thinking, hard-running midfielder, who is willing to look for the attacking option rather than making a negative pass, as well as being blessed with imagination and plenty of energy."
It seems unlikely that Town would seek to spend this level of cash on a 21-year-old who has only started 26 games in the First Division with another 31 appearances as sub. He has also started seven cup games and has appeared as sub in another five. He has scored eight League goals and one in the Worthington Cup.
