Armstrong Nets Hat-trick - Ipswich Town News
Former Town striker Alun Armstrong netted a hat-trick for new club Darlington as they defeated Southend 4-0 at the Williams Motors Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Armstrong, released by the Blues in the summer, was making his third appearance for the Quakers since signing earlier this month.
The former Stockport and Boro man scored his first goal on 24, his second five minutes prior to the break and completed his triple in the 52nd minute, before being replaced on 67.
Darlington's other goal was netted by another new signing, former Leeds and Huddersfield frontman Clyde Wijnhaard.
