Price Still Set for Loan - Ipswich Town News
Second choice keeper Lewis Price is still set to go on loan despite his excellent recent performances standing in for the injured Kelvin Davis. Price, making only his second league start, saved a penalty on Sunday in Town's 2-1 defeat of Coventry.
Boss Joe Royle has long planned for the 20-year-old to go out on loan and this hasn't changed: "Lewis did fine but when Kelvin is right he will play and the offer for Lewis to go out on loan still stands for him to have experience.
"But no more than a loan because he has a bright future."
Price is with the Wales U21 squad this week and will hope to win his third and fourth caps as well as continuing his up-to-now unbeaten record.
