Notman Game Postponed - Ipswich Town News
The Alex Notman benefit match between veteran Town and Norwich City teams, scheduled for Friday at Carrow Road, has been postponed until the end of the season.
Norwich midfielder Notman's career ended in bizarre circumstances due to an ankle injury picked up when blocking a Mark Venus freekick at Portman Road in 2002.
The 24-year-old made a comeback a year later but the ex-Manchester United trainee never regained full fitness.
