Deano in Action - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Dean Bowditch is in England U19 action at Carrow Road this evening when Martin Hunter's side take on the Czech Republic.
Bowditch made his debut for the Blues in a 2-0 win at Norwich's ground two seasons ago when he set up both goals and the frontman will be hoping to have a similar impact tonight.
The 18-year-old also has good memories of games against the Czech Republic, scoring two brilliant goals for the England U17s in a live Sky game at Birmingham's St Andrews in the summer of 2002.
Bowditch will hope the crowd will refrain from booing him due to his Ipswich connections, a fate suffered by Richard Wright when playing for the England U21s at Carrow Road a few years back.
The Town man is expected to start, possibly alongside Canary striker Ryan Jarvis.
Sky Sports One are showing the game live from 7.30pm.
