Peters Decision Soon - Ipswich Town News

Canadian youngster Jaime Peters will make a decision on where his future lies in the next few weeks, according to his agent. Town are keen to sign the 17-year-old Canadian winger but he has also had trials with Millwall, Derby and Manchester United.

His agent, Canadian Barry MacLean said: "We will be sitting down with Jaime and his family to assess his situation over the next few weeks.

"We hope to have a decision by the end of the month.

"Right now, Jaime is with the Canadian team in Florida and we won't deal with the situation until he has finished World Cup qualifying duty with the squad."

Millwall appeared to be favourites for his signature after Peters told Town defender Jason De Vos he would prefer a move there when the pair were together during a previous international week.

Peters, who left German side Kaiserslautern's youth set-up in the summer, impressed in his spell at Town shortly before the season began, playing in friendlies for the U18s against Liverpool and the reserves at Needham Market.
