Joe Warning to Pablo - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Joe Royle has told striker Pablo Couñago that if, as he has previously stated, he wants to win another contract with the Blues, he'll have to improve his performances.
Royle said: "It is time for Pablo to put his best foot forward. If he really does want to earn himself another contract with Ipswich he will have to do an awful lot more than he has been doing."
Couñago's four-year deal with Town is up at the end of the season. Despite impressing Royle in the manager's first season at Portman Road when he finished top scorer, the Spaniard has failed to attain that level of form again and the Blues' boss criticised his attitude and fitness when he returned from Spain over the summer.
