REM have announced via their official website that they will be the next big name rock stars set to play at Portman Road. The Athens, Georgia-based band come to Town on Friday, July 8th 2005.
Tickets are on sale now from Ticketmaster.
Town are planning to have two or three concerts within a week next summer after the success of June's Elton John gig.
