Westy in Reserve - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Ian Westlake is in the reserve side which faces Norwich City at Portman Road this evening. Westlake has failed to hit the same form as last season so far in 2004/05 and was withdrawn from the England U21 squad last week so he could remain at Town.
Also included in the starting line-up is Chris Hogg, just back from the England U20 match with Holland in which he was an unused sub.
Pablo Couñago will be after the goals which might win him a place in Joe Royle's first team.
Lubo Guentchev, son of Bontcho, is on the bench, having won himself a short-term deal with the Academy after a six-week trial.
Reserves: Supple, Hogg, Craig, Mitchell, Sobers, Collins, Flack, Murray, Couñago, Knights, Westlake. Subs: Synnott, Guentchev, Garvan, Hammond, Atay.
