McGreal Touched - Ipswich Town News
Former Blue John McGreal said he was touched by Town fans giving him a warm welcome back prior to the game against the defender's new club Burnley.
McGreal told the club site: "It really meant something to me to hear them cheer my name. It was touching and I didn't expect it to be honest.
"I had five great years at Ipswich and it's a terrific football club."
McGreal left Portman Road in the summer after the Clarets offered him a three-year deal. Town would only stretch to a two-year contract for the 32-year-old who has spent much of the last few years out injured.
