De Vos to Play? - Ipswich Town News

Canadian central defender Jason De Vos should be in the Town side which takes on Leicester at the Walkers Stadium tonight after all. Yesterday Town manager Joe Royle said he planned to rest De Vos due to the toe injury he picked up while on international duty last week.

Royle now says that he expects De Vos will be in his line-up: "The toe is still swollen but but as long as he can get his boot on he will play."

If De Vos is back then Town's defence could be unchanged from Saturday, although returning full-back Fabian Wilnis might take over on the left from Matt Richards.

The Blues are also expected to have Darren Bent back in the side after the striker made a speedy recovery from his hamstring injury.

Kelvin Davis remains on the sidelines due to his back problem but could play for the reserves at Charlton on Wednesday. Lewis Price keeps his place between the sticks.

Squad: Price, Supple, Diallo, Richards, Wilnis, Mitchell, De Vos, Naylor, Collins, Magilton, Horlock, Miller, Westlake, Bent, Kuqi, Bowditch, Couñago.
