Diamond Date Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
As widely rumoured and reported by TWTD, Neil Diamond has been confirmed as the second act playing Portman Road next summer. The Diamond concert will be on Thursday, May 26th.
Already REM have been confirmed for Friday 8th, July with a third act - rumoured to be Bon Jovi - expected to be added to the summer roster of events soon.
Diamond's hits include Sweet Caroline, Cherry Cherry, Holly Holy, You Don't Bring Me Flowers, Solitary Man and Love on the Rocks.
Town made a six-figure sum from last summer's Elton John gig and will hope to bring in a similar amount from each of next summer's gigs.
