One Keeper for Town - Ipswich Town News

Town will go into Saturday's game at Watford with only one recognised keeper after failing to register keeper coach Andy Rhodes in time. The Blues have added defender Aidan Collins to the squad.

Third choice stopper Shane Supple broke a toe in the reserves game at Charlton on Wednesday, while Kelvin Davis remains on the sidelines due to his back problem but is likely to be back in training next week.

Manager Joe Royle told the club site that he'll look for volunteers should anything untoward happen to Lewis Price at Watford: "Shane has cracked a toe playing for the reserves in midweek and we will see how he is on Monday.

"It's a bit like Jason De Vos's injury and he is certainly out for Saturday. We will ask around the dressing room before the game and see who fancies taking the gloves if anything happens to Lewis.

"We couldn't register our goalkeeping coach Andy Rhodes in time for Saturday but if the situation with Shane puts him out for a few weeks we will look at bringing someone else into the squad."

Revised squad: Price, Diallo, Wilnis, Richards, Mitchell, Naylor, De Vos, Collins, Magilton, Miller, Horlock, Westlake, Bent, Kuqi, Bowditch, Couñago.
