Town skipper Jim Magilton has heaped praise on fellow midfielder Ian Westlake. The England U21 call-up has scored twice in two games after having a slow start to the season.
Magilton told the club site that he is impressed with the way Westlake has progressed over the last year: "I have a lot of admiration for what he has achieved so far and what he can achieve in the future.
"Last year couldn't have gone much better for him. The other clubs wouldn't have known much about him and there was less expected of him and it was a continuous high.
"That's changed now, he's got a name, people expect him to turn in good performances every week and that's tough on any young lad.
"But he has responded to being left out of the team as I expected him to. He's worked hard on the training field, even decided that England can wait, and it's full credit to him that he's back playing at the level we know he can.
"You only have to see the way he has reacted to his dip in form this season to know he has the attitude to succeed in football, and that drive and desire to improve his game should see him go on to enjoy a very successful career."
