Davis: No Target Set - Ipswich Town News
Kelvin Davis is making slow progress over his back injury and hasn't yet been set a date for a return to first team action.
"It's been very frustrating because like any professional footballer, I want to be out there playing," Davis told the Club website.
"I have had to take it steady and my recovery has not been as quick as I would have liked but I'm getting there slowly but surely. It's been a case of building and strengthening up my back in the gym and then going from there on to the training ground.
"Hopefully I will be back very soon but I have to be patient and relaxed about it as much as possible and return when I am ready, rather than setting any targets."
As reported earlier, Shane Supple will take his place on the bench after his toe injury wasn't deemed as bad as first thought.
