Park And Rides Open - Ipswich Town News

The three Park and Rides on the outskirts of town will be open for tonight's match with Sheffield United.

Fans travelling by road and wishing to avoid the congestion around the ground after the game can utilise the facilities at the following locations:

London Road Park and Ride: Is located near the Copdock Mill Interchange of the A12/A14. The site is signed from the A14 (from Felixstowe and Stowmarket directions), from the A12 (from Colchester direction), from the A137 (Wherstead), the A1071 (from Hadleigh) and the A1214 (out of Ipswich). Just follow the Park and Ride roadsigns. There are 550 parking spaces, and parking is free (when using the Park and Ride service). Dedicated Park and Ride buses to the town centre run every 10 minutes.

Bury Road Park and Ride: Is located near the Whitehouse Interchange of the A14/A1156. The site is signed from the A14 (from Felixstowe and Stowmarket directions). Just follow the Park and Ride roadsigns. There are 600 parking spaces, and parking is free (when using the Park and Ride service). Dedicated Park and Ride buses to the town centre run every 12 minutes.

Martlesham Park and Ride: Is located at the roundabout where the A1214 from Ipswich town centre meets the A12 from Lowestoft/Woodbridge. The entrance is a dedicated exit from the roundabout and is clearly signed. There are 550 parking spaces and parking is free (when using the Park and Ride service). Dedicated Park and Ride buses run to the town centre every 12 minutes.

Although not open for all evening games, the Park and Rides will be available when Town play Watford on Tuesday, 22nd February 2005 and take on Rotherham on Tuesday, 5th April 2005.
