Bowden Cash Deferred - Ipswich Town News
Town chief executive Derek Bowden's £75,000 bonus has been deferred rather than gifted to the club, according to a report.
Bowden earned the cash after the club's financial performance reached a number of pre-set milestones.
It had been reported that he has handed over the cash to boss Joe Royle to add to his loan budget but instead it seems he has put off receiving the bonus in the short-term but will be paid at a later date.
However, the deferment still means Royle has more cash to spend on loan players if he needs to add to his squad.
Town's finances have also benefited from four new loan notes from local businessmen.
