Horlock Wins League Award - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Kevin Horlock has been named Powerade's Championship Player of the Month for October. The summer signing from West Ham has been one of the Blues' most consistent performers this season.
The Powerade Awards panel is chaired by Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara. Other members are 1974 World Cup final referee Jack Taylor currently working for the Football League, Gerry Cox, chairman of the Football Writers Association and Malcolm Clarke, the chairman of the Football Supporters Federation.
Bournemouth striker James Hayter took the League One award and Leyton Orient forward Lee Steele was named from League Two.
