No Go On Scow - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Joe Royle says that fans should not expect a return from popular old boy James Scowcroft. A report earlier today linked the Blues with a move for the Leicester striker but Royle says the Foxes are unwilling to allow him to leave.
Scowcroft is player Royle has rated since his Manchester City days and is on his list of potential loan targets.
The change of manager at the Walkers Stadium prompted the Town manager to ask again about his availability but new boss Craig Levein is keen to keep the former England U21 international.
Royle said: "I've enquired a few times about him and the answer has always been the same - he's not available."
The Town boss says he doesn't expect the situation to change.
