Bent Wants to Stay - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Darren Bent has reiterated his desire to remain at Portman Road despite interest from a number of Premiership clubs. Bent's stock rose once again on Saturday with the England U21 scoring both goals in Town's 2-0 win at Burnley.
The 20-year-old says he doesn't plan to make a move in the short-term: "I see my immediate future at Portman Road."
Bent says he and the rest of the squad are looking forward to Saturday's game with Leeds, having taken nine points from their last three games: "We are all buzzing and already thinking about what will be a tough match against Leeds."
