Reserves Face Spurs - Ipswich Town News

Town's reserves take on Tottenham's second string this evening at Stevenage Borough's Broadhall Way (KO 7pm).

Striker Pablo Couñago will be the most senior player on show, having spent his time on the bench during first team games in recent weeks.

Fellow frontman Dean Bowditch is in the England U19 squad facing France at Barnsley on Thursday, so Couñago is likely to be partnered in the attack by Academy youngster Darryl Knights.

Keeper Lewis Price and defenders Matt Richards and Aidan Collins were all on the bench for the Leeds match and are expected to start this evening.

Town legend Mauricio Taricco was in the Spurs reserves side which beat Watford 2-1 last week and is likely to be involved again.

Meanwhile, former Town Academy player Adam Miller has signed an 18-month contract with QPR. Midfielder Miller, 22, was released by the Blues in 2000 before making his name in non-league football with Canvey Island, Grays Athletic and Aldershot Town.
