Taricco Joins West Ham - Ipswich Town News
Former Town full-back Mauricio Taricco has joined for West Ham on a free transfer from Spurs. Taricco, who joined Tottenham from Town for £1.775 million in 1998, has agreed a deal which will keep him at Upton Park until the summer of 2006.
Earlier this week the Argentinian, out of favour under the new management at White Hart Lane, said he would consider a return to Portman Road if the Blues came in for him, however, there has been no Town interest in signing the former Argentinos Juniors player.
Taricco joined Town in 1994 from the Argentinian club for £175,000 and was a the most popular player at the club until his controversial departure.
