Bowditch a Doubt - Ipswich Town News

Striker Dean Bowditch is considered a doubt ahead of Saturday's home game with Brighton. The England U19 picked up an ankle injury just before half-time in the 2-0 defeat at Sunderland.

Bowditch told the club site: "Jeff Whitley caught me as I cleared the ball. I've damaged some ligaments in my foot but any lower with the contact and there could have been problems with the bone.

"It's not as bad as I first thought and I'm lucky in a way that he caught me in the 'best' place on my ankle but it's too early to tell for the weekend."

Midfielder Tommy Miller is expected to return to the Town line-up on Saturday having missed out at Sunderland due to an elbow injury.
