Garvan Added to Squad - Ipswich Town News

Town boss Joe Royle has added 16-year-old Irish midfielder Owen Garvan to the squad for tomorrow's game against Brighton. Garvan is presumably included as cover for Tommy Miller whose elbow is still not 100%.

Royle said: "We're bringing in another baby. Owen is way ahead of schedule and we are obviously very excited about his future."

The Dubliner, a central midfielder, has won international honours with the Republic of Ireland at U15, U16 and U17 level and has long been thought of as one of the most promising prospects in the Academy.

Aidan Collins and Darryl Knights are now not in the squad.

Revised squad: Davis, Supple, Diallo, Wilnis, Richards, De Vos, Naylor, Miller, Magilton, Westlake, Horlock, Garvan, Bent, Kuqi, Couñago, Bowditch.
