500 Half Tickets Sold - Ipswich Town News

Top of the table Town have sold 500 half-season tickets. The tickets cover the final 11 games of the season.

Ticket Office manager John Ford told the club site: "Obviously the savings have appealed to fans and there has also been a Christmas element.

"I think many people have bought tickets as Christmas presents for friends or relatives who may be regulars at Portman Road but don't have a season ticket.

"Looking at the games to come over the second half of the season as well, we have the likes of West Ham, Sunderland, Leicester and Derby, so there are some big matches there."

Town sold over 17,000 season tickets in the summer and the total must now be close to last year's figure of 18,000.
