Murphy Goes Home - Ipswich Town News
Irish U21 trialist Daryl Murphy has returned home after suffering a recurrence of a groin injury in training with Town. The Waterford United striker joined the Blues on trial on Monday.
Murphy, 21, has been offered the chance of a return to Portman Road in February once the injury has cleared up.
Waterford are confident of achieving a fee in the region of £50,000 for their current star player who, according to Irish sources, still has a year left on his contract with the Eircom League side.
