No Oxford Job For Jim - Ipswich Town News
Town skipper Jim Magilton will not be leaving Portman Road to become manager of Oxford United, the League Two side having named Argentinian Ramon Diaz as their new boss. The Northern Irishman was linked with his former club after Graham Rix was sacked last month.
Magilton said he would have to consider the job if it were offered to him but it seems there was no approach from the U's.
Diaz is a former Argentinian international who previously managed River Plate.
