Joe Hails Spirit - Ipswich Town News
Boss Joe Royle has praised the team spirit which has helped take the Blues to the top of the Championship table. Royle says it is not dissimilar to that of the Oldham side he took into the top division and kept there for three seasons in the early nineties.
The Town manager said: "The Oldham boys were outstanding together, it took them a long way, and this team's celebrations are not false.
"They like each other. They'll shout at Shefki on the pitch but after the game they can't wait to hug him because they think the world of him.
"That's symptomatic. The celebrations are not contrived, it's genuine."
