Big Dunc Linked Again - Ipswich Town News
Reports in the local and some national newspapers are linking Town once again to Duncan Ferguson. The Everton striker is said to be a target should Town be promoted this season.
Town boss Joe Royle is understandably not wanting to talk about next season as talk of promotion is premature, but reports say that Ferguson may be a loan target to help us out for the remainder of the season. Town have already tried to bring Ferguson on loan back in September 2003.
Ferguson celebrates his 33rd birthday today and is a player well known to Joe Royle having signed him from Rangers whilst at Everton. The big Scot is also out of contract at the end of the season and the speculation suggests he'll not be offered a new one.
