Curbishley Praises Crowd - Ipswich Town News
Alan Curbishley has added to the praise recently heaped on the Town crowd after Town's 2-0 victory at the weekend. Thw Town following were at the loudest as the Blues sought to break down the solid Charlton defence. Curbishley said: "Ipswich have come into the League and there is a buzz about the place. The fans have got the buzz, they are noisy here."
Curbishley joins Alex Ferguson and Bobby Robson in praising the Burley's Barmy Army who have been at their noisiest throughout the whole season so far.
Both Academy sides won at the weekend. The U19s won 3-0 against Birmingham with goals from Richard Logan (2) and Robert Dickinson. The U17s won 5-2 at home to Coventry with goals from Darren Bent (2), Darren Ambrose (2) and Steve Burton.
