Joe: No Murray Bid - Ipswich Town News
Boss Joe Royle has moved quickly to repudiate a report earlier today claiming midfielder Antonio Murray was set to join Cambridge United on loan. Royle says he has received no enquiry regarding the 20-year-old.
The Town manager says that although new U's boss Steve Thompson has made no contact regarding Murray, he is keen that the former Academy player spend some time out on loan: "If there was a chance of Antonio playing regular first team football we would not stand in his way and would agree to the loan."
Murray was initially linked with Cambridge back in November.
