Juan Set for Trial? - Ipswich Town News
Reports in France say the Blues are keen to trial Monaco central midfielder Jimmy Juan. The 21-year-old has failed to win a regular first team place since making his debut in 2002/03.
Juan has spent his entire career with Monaco after coming through their youth system, but has made very few senior appearances.
In 2002/03 he made two, a season later just one, although he was on the bench during their run to the Champions League final.
This season Juan, 6ft, has played four games, all as a substitute.
Town manager Joe Royle has a number of connections in France and has run his eye over several French players in his time with the Blues, although none have yet joined the club.
