Town fan Kevin 'The Artist' Painter bowed out of the PDC World Darts Championship at the quarter-final stage on Saturday night. The North Stander was defeated 5-1 by reigning champion Phil 'The Power' Taylor.
Painter was on the back foot from the start and went four sets down before winning the fifth, the first Taylor has lost during the tournament.
The champion, in form close to the top of his game, looks likely to win his twelfth world title.
