Juan to Join on Trial - Ipswich Town News

Monaco midfielder Jimmy Juan will join the Blues the Blues on trial this week with a view to signing on loan until the end of the season. TWTD reported last week that Town were interested in taking a look at the 21-year-old.

Juan, a native Monegasque, will get the chance to show Joe Royle and his staff what he can do when joins-up with the squad later in the week.

The 6ft central midfielder has spent his entire career with his local club after coming through their youth system, but has made very few senior appearances.

In 2002/03 he made two, a season later just one, although he was on the bench on a number of occasions during their run to the Champions League final.

This season Juan has played four games, all as a substitute, three in Le Championnat and one in the Champions League.
