Karb Wants Second Month - Ipswich Town News
Loanee Danny Karbassiyoon says he would like to remain with the Blues for a second month when his loan spell ends in two weeks. The Arsenal player made his debut in the defeat at Millwall and his first start in the 2-0 win at Plymouth on Monday.
The 20-year-old told the club site: "I'm really enjoying my time here and if the chance came to stay longer that would be great.
"The lads have me feel very welcome here, the staff are friendly and it's great to be involved in the first team. That's what I want to be doing now; pushing for first team football.
"It's better for me to be playing in front of big crowds and playing in games with points at stake than playing in the reserves for Arsenal."
The left-sided defender or midfielder will not be involved in Saturday's FA Cup third round tie with Bolton as Arsenal don't want him cup-tied.
