Youths Take On Stoke - Ipswich Town News

Town's U18s travel to the Britannia Stadium to face Stoke in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup this evening (KO 7pm). Darryl Knights, Aidan Collins, Shane Supple and Owen Garvan are the most familiar names involved in the game.

The Blues have one or two injury worries ahead of the game, Irish full-back Michael Synnott, striker Blair Hammond and midfielder Alan Storie are all concerns. Better news is that keeper Shane Supple is available after his recent heel injury.

Town beat Portsmouth in the third round, while Stoke surprisingly defeated Manchester United.

The match has to end on the night and will go into extra-time and penalties if required.

The clubs have decided that all gate receipts, parking fees as well as a collection will go to the Asian tsunami appeal.

The winners of the tie will face either Aston Villa or Port Vale in the fifth round. They meet at Villa Park on January 20th.

Town squad: Supple, Blackmore, Moore, Casement, Collins, Krause, Lordan, Garvan, Clarke, Knights, Craig, Trotter, Sheringham, Haynes, Haverson, Ainsley.
