Murray Joins Hibs - Ipswich Town News

Midfielder Antonio Murray has joined Scottish Premier League side Hibernian until the end of the season having had his contract with Town terminated. The Cambridge-born player has been on trial with Tony Mowbray's club since the beginning of the week.

Murray has made one senior appearance for the Blues, as a sub in the final game of 2002/03 at Derby County.

Former Town skipper Mowbray has also expressed an interest in Blues' central defender Chris Hogg, currently out injured after cutting his arm while chasing thieves over Christmas.

A move for Hogg would not take place until the summer due to the injury and the restrictions of the transfer window.

Already at Easter Road are former Academy striker Sam Morrow and defender Mark Venus, who is Mowbray's assistant manager.
