Karb Loan Extension? - Ipswich Town News
Town are aiming to keep loan full-back Danny Karbassiyoon beyond the one month of his current spell. Boss Joe Royle is hopeful that Arsenal will allow the American a longer stay at Portman Road.
Royle told the club site: "Danny's with us for another week anyway but we are talking to Arsenal about keeping him here longer, hopefully for another two months.
"He's had a good start and we're very pleased with him. We took him in a little bit blind in a way, although we'd seen him in the reserves for Arsenal and he'd done pretty well.
"His performance against Bolton was a step-up fitness-wise on his showing against Plymouth and he's looking comfortable within the squad."
Karbassiyoon said last week that he was keen to remain with the Blues for a longer spell.
Meanwhile, Hibs have confirmed that midfielder Antonio Murray has joined them full-time until the end of the season, having has his contract with the Blues terminated.
