Leicester Game Off? - Ipswich Town News
Town's league match with Leicester could be postponed due to a potential FA Cup replay. If the Foxes require a replay in the fourth round, that match would take place on Saturday, February 12th and not their league game at Portman Road.
With international fixtures set for the week beginning February 7th, there is no midweek slot in place for FA Cup fourth round replays in time for the fifth round on February 19th.
The Football Association have agreed with the Premier and Football Leagues that clubs who lose players to international fixtures in that week will play their replays on February 12th.
Town bowed out of the cup at the third round stage, losing 3-1 at home to Bolton, but Leicester face Blackpool in a third round replay tonight and if victorious will take on Reading in the fourth round at the Madejski Stadium.
