Bent in Spanish Link - Ipswich Town News
A Spanish national newspaper claims that Town striker Darren Bent could become a target of Atlético Madrid should they fail to land Brazilian Deivid on loan from Bordeaux.
Deivid has been on loan at Santos in his homeland and wants a move to Spain rather than a return to France and the deal looks likely to be completed prior to the end of the transfer window.
Bent has repeatedly said that he wants to remain with Town, at least until the end of the season, and TWTD suspects there is little truth in the report.
Town have said on numerous occasions that it would take an outrageous bid to take him away from Portman Road.
