Clarke Scores for Ireland - Ipswich Town News

Academy striker Billy Clarke scored the second goal as the Irish U19s defeated Italy 2-0 in Bisceglie this afternoon. Clarke played the full 90 minutes, while recent trialist John Paul Kelly came on as a second half substitute.

Celtic striker Diarmuid O'Carroll put Ireland in front in the 53rd minute and Clarke, winning his second cap at this level, struck the second just before the hour mark.

The match was the second game of two, the first having ended 0-0 with Clarke an unused sub but ex-Liverpool youngster Kelly playing the entire game.
