Scales Denies Loan Rumour - Ipswich Town News
Town defender John Scales has refuted press claims that he is on his way to Oxford United on loan. Scales has been watched by Oxford United director of football Joe Kinnear, but there has been no official contact from the Manor Ground club.
Scales said before yesterday's game at Coventry: "It is not something I would like to do at this time. I would rather stay at Ipswich and bide my time for a chance to get back into the starting line-up."
I'm sure John will comment further on this in this week's John Scales column, available on the website from Thursday: http://www.twtd.co.uk/scales
