Peters in Canada Squad - Ipswich Town News
Winger Jaime Peters has been included in the full Canada squad for a friendly against Northern Ireland in Belfast on February 9th. Peters, currently away with the Canada U20 squad, will officially join the Blues in May when he turns 18.
The 17-year-old is expected to be in the starting line-up later today when the U20 side take on Mexico in Honduras.
The match is the first of three in the final round of CONCACAF qualifying for the FIFA World Youth Championships in Holland this summer.
The U20s also face Honduras on Friday and Jamaica on Sunday.
Canada's senior side, with whom Peters already has five caps, also have a friendly arranged away in Portugal on March 26th.
