McGreal Very Doubtful - Ipswich Town News

John McGreal is rated as very doubtful for Saturday's clash with Manchester City. The Town centre-half was injured on Monday when he collided with a post when heading the ball away from danger. He has a leg injury and he himself is hopeful that he may be fit for Maine Road: "Although the injury is still sore, it has improved and I feel that I still have a chance of making the game. With the team on such a good run, none of us want to miss a match unless we absolutely have to."

However, George Burley said that the former Tranmere player is: "very, very doubtful".

Therefore it seems likely that Titus Bramble will take his place in the starting line-up against Manchester City. Bramble made an excellent start to the season and impressed as a sub against both Coventry on Monday and Charlton last weekend.
