Naylor Concern Grows - Ipswich Town News

Town are becoming increasingly worried at the continuing problems with Richard Naylor's knees. Bam Bam had an operation in the summer to correct his tendinitis and this should have solved his problems.

The club were expecting him to feel some reaction to the surgery for a while afterwards, but the problems he is having are far worse than expected. Currently his left knee is very puffed up and the Town striker may be forced to see a specialist to assess the problem. George Burley said: "We are keeping a close eye on the situation."

A new Ipswich book has been published called 'Images of Ipswich' - packed

full of black and white photographs on the Town from the 1888 fixture list

to the Town Hall celebrations following last season's play-off success. Most

of the photos are rare and unpublished and feature all the stars (and

flops!) to have graced Portman Road over the years as well as action shots

and behind-the-scenes images.

As a special offer to NewsNet subscribers, Sports Books Direct (based in

London) are offering 'Images of Ipswich' at £7.99 (including free delivery).

The book will cost £9.99 in the shops. If you would like to place an order

please contact Dan Botten on db@sportsbooksdirect.co.uk or fax him on 020

7729 2305 with your order details.

This book is already selling well and is an essential read for any Town

afficionado.
