Pablo in Reserves - Ipswich Town News
Spanish striker Pablo Couñago has an opportunity to impress manager Joe Royle tonight when the reserves take on Arsenal at Portman Road (KO 7pm). Couñago was left out of the first team squad which won at Sheffield United on Saturday, after a number of disappointing performances in the reserves.
Also in the squad is loan signing Jimmy Juan, who is over the foot injury he sustained in his reserves debut at Coventry two weeks ago.
Steve McCall's squad also includes former Arsenal striker or midfielder Dean McDonald, who is mulling over a contract which would keep him with the Blues until the end of the season.
The reserves are without Lewis Price, Dean Bowditch and Billy Clarke who are away on international duty with the Wales U21s, England U19s and Irish U19s respectively.
Reserves: Shane Supple, Michael Synnott, Matt Richards, Liam Manning, Aidan Collins, Scott Mitchell, Dean McDonald, Jimmy Juan, Pablo Couñago, Scott Barron, Owen Garvan, Daniel Flack, Jerrome Sobers, Adem Atay, Danny Haynes, Liam Craig, James Krause.
