De Vos: Squad Buzzing - Ipswich Town News

Central defender Jason De Vos says that the mood in the Town squad is sky high after Saturday's win at Sheffield United. The Canadian international thinks the team spirit at Town is the best he has experienced in his career.

De Vos told the club site: "I felt at ease as soon as I joined this club, because the players make it easy for you and that team spirit has been evident from day one.

"When you join a new club, you normally find two or three players not happy for whatever reason, but that's not been the case here.

"Everyone gets on with everyone else and the whole squad are really pulling for each other.

"It's a really happy dressing room and the spirit here is the best I have known during my career.

"The music was blaring out on the way back from Sheffield on Saturday, all the lads were buzzing and we're now all looking forward to the Leicester match."

De Vos is not involved in Canada's match with Northern Ireland in Belfast tomorrow night having asked to sit out the Canucks' remaining games this season.

New Town winger Jaime Peters is included in Frank Yallop's squad and is expected to play some part.
