Magilton and Venus Also Doubtful - Ipswich Town News

Jim Magilton and Mark Venus could be among the missing regulars from the Town side this evening. The midfielder has a bruised foot and may make way for Martijn Reuser, while the defender has has a bruised ankle. Titus Bramble is favourite to play alongside John Scales. George Burley has said he won't risk players in the Worthington Cup and therefore it seems that Reuser and Bramble will have a chance to stake their claims for regular starting positions.

As reported yesterday Richard wright is likely to make way for Mike Salmon to make his Town debut. Wright has a wrist injury that has troubled him for a few games. It will mean he breaks his 201 consecutive games stint.
