Dean Turns Down Latics - Ipswich Town News
Striker Dean Bowditch has turned down the chance to join League One side Oldham Athletic on loan. New manager Ronnie Moore is keen to strengthen his strikeforce and targeted the England U19 international who has rarely been in the Town starting line-up this season.
Bowditch has not made the kind of progress which was hoped for this season and is without a goal even at reserve level since November. However, the Blues are still confident that the 18-year-old has a big future at Portman Road and the Harlow-born striker signed a new contract in January which will keep him at the club until June 2008.
