Fan's Dual Challenge - Ipswich Town News
Town fan Mark Sherwood has two targets when he runs the 2005 Flora London Marathon on Sunday, 17th April - to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and to beat Norwich supporter Stuart Tebbutt.
Mark met the Canary, who is raising funds for PHAB, a charity for physically handicapped children, on a running website and the pair have now turned their fundraising efforts into an East Anglian derby of sorts.
A Lowestoft-based Blue and TWTD reader, Mark says they have agreed that the loser will suffer some football-related forfeit: "We are trying to arrange that the person who comes last can be photographed doing some menial task, like him cleaning Darren Bent's boots with his Norwich Scarf. That's what I will be aiming to happen."
